Local Working Group Meeting- September 10th, 2024 10 am
Join us at the USDA Service center for our local working group meeting to help our District Conservationist, Sean Drew, get an idea of what natural resource issues and concerns you have.
Our new district conservationist will be present to help you with any technical assistance or questions you may have for him.
This meeting is open to the public, we can’t wait to see you!

We ask that you rate your top 10 concerns. If your specific concern is not listed on the above form, you may fill out this Survey and email to Jennifer.Brown3@in.nacdnet.net. Wayne County SWCD receives Round Up Grant from Whitewater Valley REMC
Wayne County Soil and Water Conservation District was awarded a Round Up grant from Whitewater Valley REMC for the 2024 Conservation Days event which provides Wayne County 3rd/4th grade students the opportunity to learn about agriculture, natural resources, safety and more!

COMPOST WORKSHOP! Friday, June 7th @ 5:30pm
A FREE event held at the Wayne County Urban S.O.I.L. garden at the Wayne County Fair grounds.
Learn the ins and outs of composting with Megan Ayers, Urban Soil Health Specialist. We will have compost systems available at a 50% discount. (Cash/Check accepted)
There will be a FREE light dinner and dessert.
Bring your own seating! This is an outdoor event in our garden, not in the Kuhlman Center or Expo.
